A good headshot doesn't have to look like everyone else's. I like creating portraits that have a little bit of life to them, something that feels natural, looks great and gives people a sense of who they're actually looking at.

You don't need to know how to pose.

You don't need to be comfortable in front of a camera.

What should I wear?

Wear something that feels like you and fits well. Simple, clean clothing usually photographs best, and solid colours or subtle patterns tend to keep the focus on your face.

Can we take different expressions?

Absolutely.

I like to create variety during a session so you aren't left with five versions of exactly the same photograph.

We'll capture a few different expressions and subtle changes in pose so you can choose images that feel right for your professional uses.

Can you photograph professional headshots at my workplace?

Yes. On-location headshots are a great option for individuals and businesses that want photographs that feel connected to their workplace or brand.

I can bring the lighting and equipment needed to create polished, professional headshots right at your office or chosen location.

Do you offer corporate headshots for teams?

Yes. Corporate headshot sessions can be arranged for small teams, larger organizations, executives or entire companies.

For team photography, we can create a consistent look across everyone's images while still allowing each person's personality to come through.

Can you photograph our entire team in one day?

Often, yes.

The schedule will depend on the number of people, location and the type of headshots you're looking for. When you inquire, I'll help you work out a realistic schedule so everyone knows when they're needed.

What's the difference between a headshot and personal branding photography?

A headshot is usually a more focused portrait designed to represent you professionally.

Personal branding photography goes a little further. It can include different locations, outfits, poses, details and images of you actually working or interacting with your environment.

If you need more than one great profile photo, personal branding photography may be a better fit.

How quickly will I receive my headshots?

Turnaround depends on the type of session and number of final images.

If you have a deadline for a new job, company announcement, website launch, speaking engagement or other professional use, let me know when you book and I'll do my best to accommodate it.

Where do you offer professional headshots?

I'm based in Kitchener-Waterloo and offer professional headshot photography throughout Waterloo Region, including Kitchener, Waterloo and Cambridge, as well as Guelph, Oakville, Toronto and surrounding areas.

On-location corporate headshots are also available throughout Ontario.
